The schools and community side of City of Lights is managed by Kernow Education Arts Partnership In 2016 over 900 children and members of the community from around Truro took part in the procession!


Each school or group works with one of the City of Lights artists to make small lanterns on the year's theme and is then part of the massive procession through Truro. It is a real tradition with the Truro schools and children can't wait til it's their turn!


Schools and groups involved in the 2016 parade were:

Mount Hawke Academy, Goonhavern Primary School, Tregony CP School, Cury C of E School, Cusgarne Community School, Archbishop Benson, Bosvigo School, Penair School, Polwhele House, Richard Lander, Shortlanesend CP School, St. Mary's C of E School, Truro, Threemilestone, Tregolls School; An Academy, Truro High Prep School, Truro Learning Academy, Truro School, Kea Primary School
